The answer can be given in a complex way, but I will try to answer it in the simplest way.

Muslims can not do any haram (forbidden) activities.

The question of the answer is that simple.

The Holy Quran said:

‘Say, “My Lord has only forbidden immoralities – what is apparent of them and what is concealed – and sin, and oppression without right, and that you associate with Allah that for which He has not sent down authority, and that you say about Allah that which you do not know.”-(The Quran 7:33).

Many people have misconceptions that every activity, food, words and everything whatever exist in the world or majority of them are haram (forbidden) in Islam. It is, in fact, the exact opposite, everything that is/are exist(s) in the world is/are halal (permissible) in Islam. Only a hand-counted few things and activities are haram (forbidden). Except that everything is/are halal (permissible).
